- May 08, 2020 Microsoft Windows allows multiple users to be logged on concurrently, but Cisco AnyConnect Network Access Manager restricts network authentication to a single user. AnyConnect Network Access Manager can be active for one user per desktop or server, regardless of how many users are logged on.

I enjoy the new VPN client, it's small and fast, however I hated that you can't save profiles in the drop down list like you could in the traditional VPN client.
The newest generation of remote access VPNs is offered from Cisco AnyConnect SSL VPN client. This is supported by Cisco ASA 8.x. The AnyConnect SSL VPN provides the best features from both of the other VPN technologies (IPSec and Web SSL). With AnyConnect, the remote user has full network connectivity to the central site. Install the Cisco AnyConnect Client. Download and install the normal Cisco AnyConnect client from your Cisco VPN. The client should connect and allow authentication using SMS, Mobile Phone Client, Token, and the Taskbar Utility. For PINpad and TURing the below modification is available for testing.
This has been bothering for a long time and kept finding conflicting information on if this was possible or not. Finally got it to work.
This is for version 3.1x and Windows 7 let me know if this works for your version and OS.

EDIT 01/18/2017: This also works with Cisco AnyConnect 4.x!
Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client Allows Secure Connection from Anywhere. Cisco, the pioneer in router technology, created the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client to allow customers to create a VPN, or virtual private network. These networks permit two computers to connect over the Internet remotely using a secure connection that keeps information shared between the two computers secure and private. With today's global economy, companies have a pressing need to share confidential information remotely. A VPN system allows them to do that seamlessly, as if they were connected to each other by a wire, only using the wireless connectivity of the Internet to do so.
Cisco Anyconnect VPN Client
In a VPN, the computers (or other devices enabled on the network) connect using a client on one computer and a VPN server on the second computer. It uses dedicated connections, traffic encryptions, and protocols for virtual tunneling to allow the secure connection to take place.
With the secure connection established, secure information can be exchanged, even on the Internet, by means of security applications, such as encryption and other solutions. With this technology, even on the very public Internet, the information can get through without prying eyes taking a look.

In this way, the devices can be regulated by the management and by the security policies of the company while their operators enjoy the benefits of remote connectivity only available on the Internet.
The application can have widespread use. In addition to maintaining the secrecy of shared corporate information, the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client can be used to transmit sensitive medical information between doctors, allowing physicians in even remote locations to treat patients in rural or otherwise underserved areas.
Furthermore, the Cisco Anyconnect allows company employees to access their company's private Intranet network. This permits them to get real-time information from their employer even while traveling. It also permits them to get around any censorship issues in countries in which they are traveling, keeping their identity and location secure.
Cisco Anyconnect Vpn Instructions
The product was discontinued in 2011. Product updates were ended in July 2012, and support was no longer provided after 2014. The company suggests that customers switch to a newer product, the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. For those who do not want to switch, however, the Cisco AnyConnect VPN licenses are still available from aftermarket retailers such as Amazon.com.
